Mint is a wonderful website which keeps log of your everyday spending on grocery, gas and miscellaneous. It automatically categorizes your each purposes and generates a monthly/yearly report. So you know how much money you made and spent. It helps to curb your overspending on any category. Mint.com needs access to your all bank and credit card accounts to this feat.
Buxfer.com
This website does the same like mint.com but if you don't want any website to have access to your bank accounts, then Buxfer allows it. You can manually download monthly statements from your bank in the .csv format and just import it in Buxfer.com. It identifies sellers and categorizes them nicely. It marks duplicate transactions. This site is quite useful anywhere in the world. Moreover, you can add your friends to keep log of how many bucks are balance between you guys. You get monthly reports on spending by each categories.
